By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

1. Nature of the Service

RapidIRB provides immediate determinations on whether submitted research qualifies for exempt status under federal regulations. This tool is designed to support independent researchers, students, and institutions seeking clarity on IRB requirements for their study.

Purchasing access to RapidIRB does not guarantee that your study will qualify for exemption, nor does it guarantee a favorable determination letter. If your study requires full or expedited IRB review, your case will be referred accordingly. No refund will be issued in such cases.

2. User Responsibilities

You agree to:
– Provide accurate and complete information.
– Use the tool only for legitimate research submissions.
– Accept the final determination, whether exempt or not.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of RapidIRB aligns with your institutional or publication requirements.

3. Determination Letters

If your study qualifies for exemption, you will receive a determination letter via email. Determinations requiring further review will be communicated clearly but do not include a refund or guarantee of full IRB services.

4. Payments

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Fees are charged for access to the RapidIRB tool and the resulting review process. Fees are not dependent on the outcome of the exemption determination.

5. Limitation of Liability

RapidIRB provides administrative exemption review services and does not act as a full-service IRB board. We are not responsible for downstream consequences related to grant approvals, academic disputes, or journal rejections.

6. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via the Site or email.

7. Refund Policy

At RapidIRB, we offer immediate access to an exemption determination service. Please review this policy before making a purchase.

1. No Guarantee of Exemption Status

Purchasing access to RapidIRB does not guarantee that your study will be determined to be exempt. If your submission is found to require expedited or full board review, that determination does not qualify for a refund.

2. No Refunds After Review Begins

Once your submission is received and reviewed by our system, the service is considered rendered and is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome.

3. Technical Errors

If a technical issue on our part prevents your review from being processed, we will help you to successfully process the review. Refunds or credits may be issued at our discretion.

4. Dispute Process

Billing issues must be submitted in writing within 10 business days to: support@rapidirb.com
